History/Future: Denim Era Analysis

The fashion industry is constantly changing and revolutionizing new innovative styles. One particular fashion trend that has evolved drastically throughout the years is denim. Denim trends have made a long way of various transitions throughout the decades. In the United States, the trends set in a little after European companies however they always have a dramatic impact in fashion. From the 1980s to 2000s, jeans style and washes have been on the rise of extreme popularity. Before the 1980s, high waist and wide legged jeans were what everyone had on. In the 1980s, acid washed jeans made their way onto the runway. The unique wash of these jeans intrigued many denim lovers throughout the United States. In the 1990s, denim jackets were rising as well as various fits of jeans; slim fit and in the late 1990s, relaxed fit. Acid washed jeans transformed into stone washed jeans that just indicated some fading on the thighs and knees. The 2000s were all about skinny jeans. Jeans that scrunched up on the bottom of your ankle became an instant sensation overnight. Every kind of variation/wash of skinny jeans existed.
In 2010, the shift of denim trends began to repeat itself. The styles that were once popular pre 1980s are all making their way back into fashion. Wide leg jeans, boyfriend/loose fitting jeans and high waist jeans are all making their way back into the industry.
The interesting factor of fashion is that it is constantly repeating itself. Learning from its history, it generates a brand new future. The predecessor styles and fits of denim impact what will be created and produced in the future.
The 2010s are on a rise to bring historical fashion back. The styles of the past and present determine the future. The 2020s are capable of anything.

Frame/Context:contextual sight

The app store is the main outlet for all apple users. To explore new interests and find new hobbies, the app store can provide people with exactly what they are looking for. What makes the app store efficient is how easily consumers can access and explore it. The contextual sight has a major if not all impact on a design layout. Just by changing the context, or forcing a visual change, new innovations and insights emerge. If the foundation of the store was used in other enmities, such as education, healthcare and a work environment, the industry of that department can be revolutionized. The simplicity of format can make it a mechanism for teaching, providing and sharing.
Education can be transformed into a hobby for students by designing it in software that they understand and like using. Visualizations motivate and inspire people to do their best. the layout and overall design can remain the same, to help avoid confusion, however the apps offer can correlate to what the teacher and or school district want to teach their students. Each teacher can have specific apps that need to be downloaded in order to completely grasp the concepts of that particular class. For younger students, educational games can be provided and help stimulate learning by playing a game.
Work environments can be more efficient when it comes to training and or preparing for certain meetings. Usually when a person if initially hired, they need to read and fill out paperwork. If the app store context was designed so that a new employee can access all of that through the store, the process can be easier and not as repetitive. Certain apps can be accessed that provide information for specific projects that are currently going on in the workplace. The simplicity of the app store software can help redesign existing foundations.
